Military Wife Helps Cancer Patients Get Comfortable

Dawn Jacques, Owner and Designer of 7 Stitches® Boutique, aims to support those struck by illness, making travel easy and comfortable.

7 Stitches® Boutique is a company with a passion. Dawn Jacques started the company with one goal in mind, to help alleviate the pain and pressure caused by seat belts in areas that have undergone extensive surgeries. The user can then continue to wear their seat belts properly and comfortably while remaining safe.

Dawn’s products are incredibly well done and thought out. The seat belt pads and pillows provide a little extra comfort in those sensitive areas due to a mastectomy, heart surgery, or breast reconstruction. Other products, like her Cool Companion, are handmade using 100% cotton and soft foam, and even contain a large 5″ pocket with a velcro closure to hold a heat/cold pack. Dawn can even go as far as creating custom orders from scratch. It’s as simple as choosing the color/print.

Here are just some of the items that 7 Stitches® Boutique offers:

  1. My Breastfriend
  2. My Bellymate
  3. Port Pal
  4. My Cool Companion

So whether it’s Post-Surgical seatbelt pillows™, Mastectomy pillows, or a gift for those that have survived Breast Cancer; 7 Stitches® Boutique is the place to buy quality pieces for those we love.

“The 7 Stitches® Boutique has so many thoughtfully made items. The My Breastfriend™ seat belt pillow is a must-have after a mastectomy…It’s cute, well-made, perfectly sized, and so much more comfortable. I just love having it.”

Who is Dawn?

Dawn Jacques is an amazing mother of five, a successful business owner, and a veteran and a wife to a member of our armed forces. Dawn is more than familiar with traveling and all the stress that normally comes with it.

By chance, someone that loved her travel pillows asked one to be made specifically for a friend who was going through breast reconstruction. My Breastfriend was born, and incredibly well received. Dawn soon realized she could make a difference by creating products designed to enhance her family’s life as well as the lives of those suffering from cancers or surgeries.

“My amazing customers have stuck with me every step of the way…We continue to add new products and the response has been pure love from everyone who sees or uses them.”
